Celebrating Learning Disability week

It’s Learning Disability Week!

This year’s theme is Do you see me?

Ensuring that people with learning disabilities are seen, listened to and valued.

We love being part of our local community and wanted to share some of this month’s community engagement highlights.

Making banners at the Arc.

We’ll be continuing our banner and head-dress making next Tuesday at drop-in and are looking forward to joining the Winchester Hat Fair Procession on Friday 5th July. Come and join or give us a wave if you’re in town that lunchtime!

Weekly boxing’s a hit!

Every Thursday 11am – 12 at the Winchester Boxing Club. To book on please contact the office info@winchestergold.org.uk or 01962 600281.

Some of our newer members joined a Barista training session with Marco at the Platform1 Cafe, in Shawford. Huge thank you to Marco – everyone had a great evening and learnt lots of new skills.

Our members are fantastic, creative individuals and their paintings are available on cards, tea towels and aprons at Cornflowers Gift Shop and Cobbs Farm Shop. Do pop in and have a look.
Our merchandise is also available through the office or via our website.
