Paralympic Personal Bests 2024 (Para PBs)

At: Winchester Sport & Leisure Park, Bar End Road, Winchester, SO23 9NR

We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone at the Paralympic Personal Bests event tomorrow.

Although this is normally an inside and outside event, the weather forecast tells us that a lot of rain is expected so we are planning to bring all activities inside the leisure centre.
(If there is no rain or just light drizzle we will try to be outside).
There is space for all of us but it will seem a little busier and noisier than usual.
We recommend people who are sensitive to noise bring their ear defenders with them.
There is a quiet space in the chill out room if you need it.

Registration: 9.30am*

*If you have booked on to swimming, please arrive at 8.30am

Events: 10.00am – 2.30pm
Swimming: 9.00 am – 9.45am
Awards Ceremony: 2.40pm – 3.00pm

• Sports include Athletics, Cricket, Football, Low-level circuits, Rugby, Squash, Yoga, Swimming* and more!

*Limited space available for swimmers, so make sure you book in advance.

• Each participant will receive a FREE T-shirt.
• Medals and certificates available to all participants.

First organised in 2012 to celebrate the London Paralympic Games, the event gives adults with a learning disability the opportunity to ‘try out’ different sports and reward participants with a medal and certificate for achieving outcomes beyond their original personal best. The event has been getting bigger and better each year and we can’t wait to see you there!

Cost: £15 per person
