We have an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys fundraising and organising events.
In support of Winchester Go LD, our Fundraising Committee host few small events each year and one major event, currently the Garden and Craft Fair in the spring. We are looking to welcome a new volunteer to our fundraising team.
As a member of our Fundraising Committee, you would attend about 6 committee meetings each year, in addition to the charity’s fundraising events, assisting not only with the planning but also with the setting up and dismantling. Our fundraising events are great opportunities for us to connect with our supporters and to share information about the fantastic work our small charity achieves. Our beneficiaries (who are adults with learning disabilities) also play a key part in most of our fundraising events.
This is a perfect role for someone with enthusiasm, energy and new ideas to help the charity to continue its valuable work in supporting the learning disability community in the Winchester area.
We are looking for volunteer supporters to join our Fundraising Committee. We aim to raise over £15,000 each year through fundraising events.
Skills
An enthusiastic and committed team player who has an organised and solution focused approach. An interest to strengthen our existing network of supporters and to develop new fundraising opportunities. Someone with a shared passion for raising essential funds needed to support the incredibly important work of Winchester Go LD.
An interest and/or experience in event management would be an advantage.
We are looking for another reliable, friendly and hardworking individual to join our supportive and experienced team of fundraisers.
