Photography Competition

Winchester Go LD are inviting entries to this photography competition to find three images that capture the landscape, architecture or traditions of the festive season in Winchester or the surrounding villages. The winning photographs will then be printed as the charity’s Christmas cards in 2021.

One entry per person.

To be submitted as a small jpeg with a minimum of 300 dpi resolution, the cards will be printed as a 14cm square card.

A shortlist of 12 will be asked to submit larger images.

Copyright is retained by the photographer but Winchester Go LD will have permission to use the winning images for Winchester Go LD Christmas cards and share on social media. The name of the photographer with image copyright will be printed on the reverse of the card along with the Charity details.

Please note that the photographs submitted should not have been published in any form before. Please send entries to Liza at by 1st March 2021.

How you can help us

Our committee members and volunteers contribute their time and resources to Winchester Go LD across a wide range of activities.

We would also welcome your involvement in fundraising for the charity.   Would you like to organise a sponsored event?   Click here to visit our JustGiving Fundraising site.

As a charity fundraising is vitally important to us.   We rely on donations, grants and fundraising to meet the cost of our services.

Your donation can help us to provide:

£10 one Afternoon Tea session – usually 10 – 15 members attend each session

£50 weekly Circuits Sessional Workers – usually 20 members attend each session

£250 for each Person Centred Plan – 1:1 staff time to complete a plan over 6 weeks

£500 for a 6 week training course for 8 members
